Study in Canada from Bangladesh — Complete Guide 2025

Canada is consistently the number one study abroad destination for Bangladeshi students — and it is easy to understand why. Canada offers world-class universities, affordable tuition compared to the USA and UK, generous work rights during and after study, and one of the clearest pathways to Permanent Residency (PR) for international graduates. The quality of life is exceptional — Canada regularly ranks among the world’s safest, most welcoming, and most diverse countries.

For Bangladeshi students, Canada’s multicultural environment, large South Asian community, and strong job market make it an ideal long-term destination. Whether you are planning to return to Bangladesh after your degree or build a career and life in Canada, a Canadian education opens doors in both directions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common queries about our consultancy services.

Is Canada better than the UK for study abroad from Bangladesh?

Both are excellent choices. Canada is generally preferred by students who want to work and potentially settle abroad long-term — due to the PGWP and PR pathway. The UK is preferred by students who want a shorter degree duration and the prestige of older universities. EduJet BD advises based on your personal goals.

Spouses and common-law partners of international students at Canadian universities may be eligible for an Open Work Permit — meaning they can work anywhere in Canada. Children can attend Canadian schools. EduJet BD can advise on the specific eligibility criteria.

The most common route is: Study at a DLI, graduate, obtain PGWP, gain 12 months of skilled Canadian work experience, and then apply through Express Entry (Canadian Experience Class) or a Provincial Nominee Program. EduJet BD works with immigration consultants to guide you through this process.
